[SL] Some behaviors will change based on parameters order

Nov 29, 2011 at 4:18 PM

I didn't think it could be real, but yes :

http://devlicio.us/blogs/derik_whittaker/archive/2011/11/29/runtime-exception-for-pageindex-of-a-datapage.aspx

When you use the DataPager in silverlight, if you place PageIndex BEFORE Source, you will get an exception.

This works :

<sdk:DataPager PageSource="{Binding ...}" PageIndex="3" />

This does not (after styling) :

<sdk:DataPager PageIndex="3" PageSource="{Binding ...}" />

Thanks for reporting.

Sounds like the tools will trigger this SL bug.

Will think about this and add a rule to make sure, PageIndex will be sorted after PageSource.

Will have a release for Christmas, :).

Upgrade to 1.5.6, the configurable attribute ordering group feature contains a fix  for this.

Just put "PageSource, PageIndex" in the "#8 Miscellaneous attributes group" option.
